Description
AI Animation and Character Concept for the Exhibition
“Stanisław Szukalski and the Horned Heart” — Gardzienice Gallery
This year, I had the pleasure of contributing to the exhibition “Stanisław Szukalski and the Horned Heart” at the Gardzienice Gallery by bringing one of Szukalski’s works to life through animation.
Using AI-based tools, I animated Stanisław Szukalski’s painting “Copernicus”, transforming the static artwork into a dynamic visual experience.
The animation became a key element of the exhibition, displayed on a large-scale screen and serving as a central point of engagement for visitors.
In addition to the animation, I was responsible for creating a concept of a “Victorian Szukalski” character, developed on the basis of the artist’s original drawings. The character design translated Szukalski’s distinctive visual language into a coherent, contemporary interpretation.
The project bridged historical art, emerging technologies, and character design, offering a new way of experiencing Szukalski’s work within a modern exhibition context.
